Sensory analysis of coffee (or any other product) is not necessarily innate; it can be trained and developed with a series of guidelines and by working gradually, so no prior experience is necessary.
In this coffee tasting course , we'll focus on our senses and how we perceive the different expressions a coffee can offer. To do so, we'll divide the course into three different exercises.
1. Olfactory phase: we will learn to distinguish the nuances of more than 36 aromas with our Le Nez Du Café scent box.
2. Basic tastes and acidity: In this table, we will identify the 5 basic tastes (acid, sweet, salty, bitter, umami) and the different types of acidity that we can find in coffee using water-based methods.
3. Brazilian cupping: We'll cover the different guidelines for conducting and scoring a professional cupping, and we'll try different coffee origins and varietals.
We carried out the course In Madrid, in our Training Room (Link on Maps). We place great importance on quality and personalized attention in our training sessions, which is why the maximum number of participants is 6.
