The sensory analysis of coffee (or any other product) is not an innate skill; it can be trained and developed through a series of guidelines and gradual practice, so no prior experience is necessary.


We hold the course in Madrid, at our Training Classroom (Link on Maps).

Who is it for?

This workshop is designed to learn in a practical and fun way, whether it's your first time or if you already have an interest in the world of tasting.

What will you learn?

In this coffee tasting course we will work on our senses and how we perceive the different expressions that coffee can offer us. For this, we will divide the course into 3 different exercises.

1. Olfactory phase: we will learn to distinguish the nuances from more than 36 aromas with our Le Nez Du Café aroma kit.

2. Basic tastes and acidity: at this table, we will identify the 5 basic tastes (sour, sweet, salty, bitter, umami) in aqueous bases and the different types of acidity that we can find in coffee.

3. Brazilian cupping or cupping: we will see the different guidelines that must be followed to perform and score a professional cupping and we will try different origins and varieties of coffee.

* Course prices reflect the following:


  • The quality of the training received, based on years of experience in the coffee and education sectors.

  • The preparation of the class.

  • The quality of the equipment and materials used, as well as consumables (specialty coffee, fresh milk, etc.).

  • Very small groups.

  • The continuous training of instructors through courses, conferences, forums, etc.

** Cancellation Policy:
When a spot in a course is purchased, you will receive an email confirmation, and we will begin preparing the class. Additionally, the number of available spots will be reduced by the amount you have purchased, and if the course is full, it will no longer be available for purchase. While we understand unforeseen circumstances caused by illness or accidents, our refund policy will reflect the costs incurred from preparing that class and from the spot not being available to another buyer.

  • Full refunds will be issued if the course is canceled at least 21 days before the scheduled date. Students may also be offered an alternative date if they prefer it over a refund.

  • A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if the course is canceled between 21 days and 48 hours before the scheduled date. No refund will be issued, nor will an alternative date be offered if the student does not attend the course or cancels with less than 48 hours' notice.

  • In case of a confirmed attendance of only 1 participant, the company reserves the right not to hold the course and to offer a refund or an alternative date.
