This course for intermediate baristas covers all the content assessed in the Specialty Coffee Association 's Intermediate certificate and also includes the tests corresponding to this international qualification.
Obtaining this certificate will allow you to access the Barista Skills Professional course.
It takes place over two sessions: the first from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the second from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The practical exam to obtain the SCA certificate takes place in the afternoon of the second session.
The Barista Skills Intermediate course expands on the concepts and skills introduced in the Foundation course. It's the ideal course for those with experience as baristas who want to explore how to improve coffee quality and prepare for more complex tasks within the profession.
Program : Throughout this interactive course, students will learn more about coffee itself, specifically the impact that coffee variety, origin, and processing methods have on flavor; the parameters of coffee quantity, grind texture, water quality, and extraction time and how they interact when programming a recipe; the structure of the beverage and differences in taste; workflow efficiency and management; sensory aspects of espresso extraction; milk techniques and treatment; and latte art .
In addition to coffee preparation, this course also covers key concepts related to health and safety, customer service, and basic business practices.

** Cancellation Policy:
When you purchase a spot for a course, you will receive an email confirming your reservation, and we will begin preparing the class. However, the number of spots available to the public will be reduced by the same number you booked, and if the course is full, it will no longer be available for purchase. While we understand unforeseen circumstances due to illness or accidents, our refund policy will reflect the costs incurred in preparing that class and in the event that the spot was not available to another purchaser.

Money will be fully refunded if the course is canceled at least 21 days before the course begins. Students may also be offered another available date if they prefer a refund.

A 50% cancellation fee will be charged if the course is canceled or changed between 21 days and 48 hours before the course is scheduled to begin. A 50% discount voucher will be issued for the next course, but the purchase must be made again.

No refunds will be given, nor will a student be offered a rescheduled course if the student does not attend the course or cancels with less than 48 hours' notice.
