Orea V4

The already iconic and beloved OREA, in its recently released V4 version . Also with two variants to choose from: Wide or Narrow . With the same capacity, but different results.

Something that is always repeated in the development of the Orea is that every time a new version is launched, it is accompanied by great novelties in the design.

This time, the changes are more than notable: the Orea V4 is a whole system that includes 4 different filtering methods and a promise of durability. The progress has been so great that V5 may never arrive and V4 may be the definitive version. Everything will be seen :)

The V4 uses a modular system that allows 4 different types of bases to be added or removed. Each of these components provides a differential value and all have been rigorously tested and simplified, in such a way that if an element has been incorporated it is because it is significantly different from the others and justified.

Two sizes were launched with the V3, 155 and 185. Two geometries are presented in the V4: Wide and Narrow. Both are sized corresponding to "Large / 185". For now the size 155 has been discarded, because the flexibility of a slightly larger body with the same geometry has been preferred.

The pours, times and cup profiles of the two geometries are very different:

• 73° Narrow: our classic geometry. While the coffee maker looks a little different on the outside, the Narrow V4 has the same geometry on the inside as the V3 and V2.
  
• 65° wide: a new geometry. Narrower than most, but wider than the classic Orea. The right differential point to provide a unique profile.

Each version includes 4 different backgrounds:

The Classic - the V3 MK2 base for the V4, for equivalent performance and flavor profile. This bottom provides some restriction while also keeping the bed perfectly flat.

The Open - The same design as the Glass Series OPEN coffee maker but in the V4 plastic body, which will give it a different profile. This bottom will focus the flow centrally and produce a completely different flavor profile – great for exploring.

The Fast - This design takes all the ideas that were explored in the Big Boy Brewer and brings them to the V4 system. A clog-free, and probably the fastest, design that provides new options for those who want to explore finer grinding, stronger pouring, or playing with many paper types.

The Apex - In addition to the 3 flat bottoms, each version comes with an APEX bottom, between conical and flat. The APEX works with conical papers such as V60/Cafec/etc, as long as you follow a folding guide. Completes the current system for each geometry, incorporating a conical coffee maker to the line

In reality, you can say that there are more than 4 coffee makers in one, depending on how you use it :)
